Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Use govern your use of schemamentalhealth.com (the "website"), operated by Schema Mental Health, PLLC ("Schema," "we," "us," or "our"). By using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.

These Terms apply to the website only. If you become a patient, your care is also governed by the consent forms, financial policies, and agreements you sign through our patient portal.

No Medical Advice

Content on this website, including blog posts, FAQs, and descriptions of conditions and treatments, is for general information and education only. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for an evaluation by a qualified health care professional. Don't ignore professional medical advice or delay seeking care because of something you read on this website.

No Provider-Patient Relationship

Using this website, reading its content, sending a message, or requesting a consultation or appointment does not create a provider-patient relationship. A provider-patient relationship with Schema begins only after you have completed our intake process, signed the required consent forms, and completed an initial evaluation that we have accepted.

Medication is prescribed only when clinically appropriate after a full evaluation. We do not guarantee that any particular medication will be prescribed or that treatment will produce a particular result.

Not for Emergencies

This website, our contact forms, email, and voicemail are not monitored around the clock and are not for emergencies.

If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself or someone else:

  • Call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline)
  • Call 911
  • Go to the nearest emergency room
  • Text HOME to 741741 (Crisis Text Line)
