Request an AppointmentYour visits
What happens at my first visit?
A 60-minute psychiatric evaluation by video covering your history, symptoms, goals, and what has or hasn't helped. We'll talk through a plan together.
Is this therapy?
We provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management, which includes supportive therapy during visits. We don't currently offer standalone therapy sessions and can refer you when that would help.
How often are follow-ups?
Usually every few weeks at first, then less often as things stabilize.
What do I need for a telehealth visit?
A private space, a stable internet connection, and a phone or computer with a camera and microphone. Please don't join while driving.
Medication
Will I be prescribed medication?
Only if it's clinically appropriate after a full evaluation. Medication is never guaranteed.
Do you prescribe ADHD medication by telehealth?
When clinically appropriate, yes, following Florida and federal rules, including a controlled-substance agreement, a check of Florida's prescription monitoring database, and regular follow-up. Federal telehealth rules may change in 2027.
Do you provide gender-affirming hormone therapy?
No. Florida law requires a physician to prescribe it. We coordinate with your prescriber and care team.
Insurance and payment
What insurance do you accept?
We're in-network with Cigna and Evernorth Behavioral Health. We're working to add more plans. Contact us to ask about yours.
What if I don't have Cigna?
Self-pay is available, and we can provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement.
Do you accept HSA or FSA cards?
Yes.
What's your cancellation policy?
Please give at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Our full policy is reviewed with you during intake.
Safety and privacy
Is my information private?
Yes. Visits use secure, HIPAA-compliant video, and your records are protected under HIPAA and Florida law.
What if I'm in crisis?
Schema is not a crisis service. Call or text 988, call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room.
